Accommodation Rating Programme
Canada Select is a National programme that assesses and rates properties to assure they will meet consumer expectations.
Scotsman Point Resort is proud to have been awarded a 2-1/2 Star rating in the Cottage category and we are working towards a 3 Star.
Consumers use the Canada Select programme to help them select a property that best suits their preferences while enjoying Canada.
Canada Select is a quality programme that is designed to measure cleanliness, state of repair, services, quality and facilities.
All participating properties must meet cleanliness and maintenance standards that are uniformly administered across Canada, in order to be rated.
They are inspected and rated every 2 years.
Accommodations are rated within 6 different categories:
Cottage, Resort, Hotel/Motel, Inn, Bed and Breakfast and Hunting and Fishing.
Each category and star level has distinct criteria which must be achieved.
To be a 3 Star property Scotsman Point Resort needs to add the following items to our cottages:
